Prom season is winding down. Many of you have already purchased your gown or tux, secured your transportation, and prom-posed in the best way possible. Some of you may have already danced the night away. Regardless of where you are in your prom timeline, we know there will be lots of pictures to document your evening. And with the countless pictures being taken, some are bound to be not-so-flattering.

Embarrassing photos can haunt us for the rest of our life, but no one has to worry about embarrassing photos coming out of nowhere like celebrities. No matter how hard they try to hide then, someone always finds them and shares them with the rest of us.

We picked the top five funniest/most embarrassing celebrity prom photos for your enjoyment. We tried to avoid choosing pictures that were embarrassing because of the fashion of the time. Trends are around for a reason and we all indulge!

So without further ado here they are.

Taylor Swift

Her hair and make-up are flawless, and her dress looks timeless. However, her date with his backwards baseball cap, and throwing up the "west coast" hand gesture makes this picture one we would want hidden from millions of people seeing.

Taylor Lautner

We have another Taylor on our list. Movie star (and ex boyfriend of the previously mentioned Taylor) has no one to blame for this embarrassing picture but himself. His date is absolutely stunning, but she is overshadowed by the all of Taylor's hair taking up the picture.

Will Ferrell

Funny man, Will Ferrell, rocking a tiara to prom? Something tells me he is very proud of this picture and probably has this framed on his desk.

Ru Paul

I don't think we would expect anything less than dramatic from Mr. Ru Paul. His prom photo, complete with clown shoes, shows he never shied from making a statement.

Michelle Obama

Last, but certainly not least, is the First Lady. If we overlook the wicker throne she is sitting on, I don't think anyone could miss the slit in her dress. I wonder if her daughters will want the same style dress for their prom?

I am sure there are countless other embarrassing prom pictures out there, but we wanted to share our five favorite. You just cant help but snicker when you wonder what went through these people's minds!

Do you have any embarrassing prom pictures? What about your parents or grandparents? We would love to see them if you did!

We hope you had a fun and safe prom season!

Prom is all about style, the dress, the tux, the hair, the shoes, the dance moves, they all play an important role in your prom night.

What about arriving in style? Some will argue that there is no point in renting any type of transportation because no one will see you arrive. But we all know it's about the ride, not who notices. Having a luxurious ride for prom is one of the most fun aspects before actually getting to the prom. It makes the night feel that much more special. So don't listen to the naysayer, and enjoy the ride.

The limousine is your typical go-to choice, and for good reasons.  It emanates style and class, if you see someone arrive in a limo you automatically think "classy." And as a bonus, it can hold several people, which can make the ride more fun because you share it with your friends.

No disrespect to the limousine, but maybe your style is a bit different. Remember, this is about the ride, and what you and your friends will enjoy the most. So, lets look at some other ways for you to arrive to your prom in a style that suits you best.

If you are looking for other ways for you and your friends to ride together, there are several large group options.

The Party Bus

Comfortable seating, flashing lights, a mini dance floor and blaring music. The party bus will allow you to dance all the way too prom and all the way to the after party. Talk about dancing the night away!

School Bus

Dancing even during intermission not your thing, but you still want to enjoy the ride with 20 of your closest friends? What about an out of commission school bus, decorated to the hilt for your prom? The best part, you can really customize the decorations to match your style!

Hay Ride

Want to enjoy the evening air as you head to prom? A convertible may not be your best choice, especially if you need to keep you or your dates hair from messing up. Plus, you can only fit four people at most into a convertible. A hay ride lets you enjoy the great outdoors with as many of your closest friends you can pile into a trailer full of hay!

If you aren't going to prom in a group, that's ok! There are some great options for just two!

A Luxury Car

Always wanted to ride in a Bentley or Maybach, then this is the style for you. You can even go retro and rent a classic luxury car. It is definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Horse and Carriage

What better way to make your date feel like a princess than to take her to prom in a horse drawn carriage. This gives you the benefits of enjoying the night air and making the night just like a fairytale! Be sure to have your date home before curfew otherwise you may be walking home with a pumpkin, a dog, and some mice, instead of your carriage.

Pickup Truck

Rocking cowboy boots with your dress or tux? Even if you aren't this may be the transportation style just for you. A dependable pickup truck. The best part, you probably already have one or know someone who does, so it makes it easy to secure the transportation you want.

No matter which mode of transportation you choose for prom, choose your style and be safe

Prom has become a right of passage for high-schoolers. One night that is planned meticulously, anticipated for months, and remembered for a lifetime.

Part of that planning includes a theme for prom. A detail that dictates the entire night but is overlooked by many of the attendees. Many people remember their prom vividly, but how many remember the theme?

We have gathered the top 5 most unique themes you and your classmates are sure to remember for years to come!

In the age of comic books turned blockbuster movies, it would be a crime to not at least consider a Super Hero Prom. The decor would include a city skyline backdrop, cardboard foes for your super heros to fight, and don't forget the visual "sound" effects.

As an added bonus, this theme has some awesome photo opportunities.

Our next unique prom theme is bring together two elements that are even more at odds than superheros and villains. Fire and Ice.

This visually stunning theme is sure to impress. Not to mention the wardrobe possibilities! A firey red or ice blue tux or that red hot dress you have had your eye on for months! You could be the school that had the hot new prom theme "before it was cool"

Next up, many a prom goer has been asked to "Catch a Falling Star" at their prom, but how many have been asked to "Catch a Dream"

This theme has it all, bright colors, sparkle, and an extremely catchy phrase. Not to mention this new spin on a classic has the potential to be a trend setter. Break out of the mold and offer your classmates a night they won't easily forget.

This next theme is out of this world. (We had to!) This Galaxy theme is riding the Star Wars wave, even including a "Galaxy Rebellion" package.

This theme will force you to make the ultimate choice, a light tux or a dark tux? Choose wisely, and may the style be with you.

Last, but certainly not least, is our fairytale prom theme. However, since we are talking about unique themes, this is not your typical fairytale. It involves a punctual rabbit, a smiling cat, and painting roses.

This theme can be featured with a psychadellic twist or a classic Queen of Hearts Garden Party.

Whichever path you decide to follow, you are guaranteed to have a Very, Merry Un-Prom Night!

And remember, don't be late for this very important date!

Gather round gentlemen! You are about to receive the inside scoop for your prom style this year. We are here to help you step up your game and wow your lovely date.

One of the biggest trends this year, and it has been around a while, is bow ties! No longer reserved for professors and "nerds". Every lady loves a dapper gent in a bow tie!

If you really want to take a risk, try the "no jacket" look and rock suspenders with your bow tie.

Gray is also a very popular color this year. It is a very pleasing neutral that is almost guaranteed to match your dates dress. Especially if she is wearing a trendy pastel dress.

(Want to know more about Ladies Prom trends? See our previous blog post!)

Whether it is a dark graphite gray or a light steel gray, you are sure to be in style this prom season.

Darker colored tuxes accented by black lapels would be a bold choice and an excellent match if your date chose a "Little Black Dress" to wear.

You have a selection of colors to choose from too to make sure you and your gal stand out from the crowd.

Following the same idea, tuxes with black piping are very popular this year.

These tuxedos give you more of a selection of colors. The jackets with black piping range from light to dark hues.

Finally, if you aren't the adventurous type or you want more of a classic debonair look, there is always the classic black tux. Sure to compliment your dates ensemble and let your looks speak for themselves. Its called "classic" for a reason.

Now that you know what is in style and you have an idea of what you would like to wear, come in to any one of our many local locations to see if that look works for you. Mr. Burch has one of the largestlocalwarehouses. So, not only do we have the look you want, we have it in house! Prom next week and you don't have a tux, no problem! Remember, all of our tuxedos are local so we don't have to wait to have it shipped to us. Last minute emergencies are our specialty.

We always recommend coordinating looks with your date. We are not responsible for arguments or awkward pictures caused by not consulting with your date. ;)

Two pieces aren't just for summer anymore! One of this year's biggest prom dress trends is the elegant two piece dress.

This two piece style is the perfect representation of this season's trends. This year is full of colorful, unique, and refreshing styles to match every personality.

Some of your favorite styles from 2015 are here for another year, plus 2016 has brought plenty of flare.

With so many styles to chose from this year, you can rest easy knowing there is enough to go around.

Some of 2015's fabulous trends have stayed around another year, including the fun and flirty short dresses.

Other trends are new this year like pastels, and floral patterns. Don't mistake the floral patterns for the vintage trend of years past. These are bold, floral patterns are not your grandmother's patterns. They are a new era all their own.

Had your heart set on a vintage prom dress? Never fear, lace is still very trendy this season.

Flowers and lace not your thing? Want something a little more bold? Sparkles, Cut-outs, and Animals prints are also trending. There really is a style for every girl.

Finally, the classic that keeps coming back but never gets tired, which is why they call it a classic, the little black dress. Black is simple, elegent, and very hot right now!

The only problem with this year's prom trends is, how will you choose which one?

Don't forget the perfect accessory to your stylish dress, a well-matched Tux! Mr. Burch can help your prom date compliment his tux to your one of a kind dress. With hundreds of styles in stock, we are guaranteed to be able to find the perfect tux to go with your unique style.

You're engaged and have decided to attend some of the upcoming bridal shows.  Now what?  How do you get the most out of the show?  Just like the wedding, the bridal shows will go much smoother with a little planning.  Be prepared before you attend to get the most out of each and every minute.
Top 10 tips for attending a bridal show:
THREE IS NOT A CROWD:  Bring your fiance, parents, bridesmaids, friends and long lost relatives.  They can help you cover twice the ground and offer opinions about the choices of wedding merchants. (Note: About 30% of fiancés attend, in spite of what yours may say! Last time I checked, men liked cake samples too.)
GET TIME ON YOUR SIDE:  Plan to spend at least 2 hours so you can visit all the wedding vendors and see at least one fashion preview. You will regret it if you don't.  No where else will you accomplish so much in so little time.
STICK IT TO WIN:  Bring pre-printed address labels for prizes and giveaways.  Many vendors hold drawings for trips, prizes, and discounts.  Your labels save you from repeatedly writing your name and address.  This saves time and ink.  You can even print some of your own and include your email address.
DON'T FORGET YOUR WALLET:  Bring your checkbook in case you might want to book services or hold dates with a deposit. The top photographers, caterers, florists, and DJs book up quickly.
BRING YOUR CALENDAR:  With so much talent in one location, you are sure to find vendors you would like to schedule a one-on-one consultation with.
HAVE A PLAN:  Know what you are looking for and have questions in mind. You will save time and see everything that’s important to you.
COMFORT MATTERS:  Wear comfortable shoes.  You will be doing a lot of walking and it's hard to concentrate on what you're doing with aching feet.
HAVE A BACK-UP PLAN:  If you're out of town, send a substiute to to collect information on services you need and register you for prizes.
HAVE NO FEAR:  Ask questions!  The vendors are there to help you. You are under no pressure to buy from them, so find out everything you need to know.  Most of the vendors have years of experience and can give you great and practical information.
KNOW YOUR OPTIONS:  There are lots of shows scheduled from January - April each year.  Know what's available.  Some vendors and venues even host their own private shows.  Check it out and make a schedule.  That way you won't miss a thing.

Bridal shows play an important role for engaged couples.  They give you the opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends, see gorgeous venues and network with professional vendors who know their stuff.  There are many reasons to attend but let’s look at the top three.
Great Ideas
You can network with other couples and professional vendors.  This is a great way to gather information and get some fresh ideas.  You might find an excellent referral from another bride.  You can tour some amazing venues like the Southern Bridal Show at the BJCC January 11, 2015.  A bridal showcase gives you the opportunity to surround yourself with people who are looking for the same answers you are.  Don't forget to catch all the shows (especially the fashion shows)!
Meet Vendors
Most bridal shows have vendor sponsors with multiple industries represented.  Not sure about your location?  Attend the venue’s bridal show.  Need help deciding what kind of entertainment to offer?  Speak to one the  experienced professional entertainment experts.  Most bridal showcase  vendors have been in the business for years, and are willing to share their knowledge with you.  They have seen the good, the bad and the ugly.  Bridal shows are an excellent way to benefit from the professional’s years of experience.
Bridal shows are notorious for having AMAZING give-aways.  You can win all kinds of interesting and wedding related things just by going to the shows and learning more about your upcoming event.  Like the upcoming Southern Bridal Show, registered brides will be eligible to  receive all kinds of prizes.  Make sure you stop at each booth to register for the individual prizes as well checking out the big giveaway.  You can’t take advantage of the give-away opportunities if you don’t go to the shows.

The holiday season is here.  You can hear Christmas carols on the radio and get eggnog from the store.  With all this holiday cheer, how can you avoid the stress of the season?  Let's face it. Some holiday-related stress is to be expected. Cookies will be burned. Flights will be canceled. How you react to it determines how the holiday will be remembered. And the pressure hits some people harder than others.
So how can you become one of those people who chuckles at adversity—silly snowstorm!—instead of crying into pumpkin pie? Here are six suggestions to to prevent the meltdown and stop the implosion before it happens.
1.  Create realistic expectations. If your holidays are more “Christmas with the Griswolds” than a Norman Rockwell painting, that’s alright.  Embrace your situation (and your family) and go with it.
2.  Just say “no” to extra obligations. Plan ahead, set priorities of how you will and won’t spend your time this season, and be sure to commit time for things you really want to do during the holidays.  Don't let your son's music teacher make you feel bad if you can't bake six dozen Silent Night cupcakes for the Open House at school tomorrow.
3.  Ignore media pressures to overexert and overspend. Remind yourself that these are marketing ploys and don’t give in to pressure to spend and do more.  Do you really need gifts for every person on your street?
4.  Set a budget and stick to it. Money problems do not disappear with the glow of holiday lights. Stay the course and give gifts that reflect your personal style, not a high price tag.  Keep the two page credit card bill out of your mailbox in January.
5.  Maintain healthy limits.  Eat and drink sensibly, get enough sleep and try to get a little exercise. You’ll be less cranky if you’re taking good care of yourself.  It's more difficult to have a tantrum on a full night's sleep.
6.  Embrace new holiday traditions.  Create new traditions that fit in better with your family and friends. Review your various holiday activities and let go of those traditions that drain your time, money or energy.
There’s no need to let the frantic pace of December turn you into a Grinch. Let these tips increase
your enjoyment of the holiday season. Remember – lower stress levels lead to a happier you.
