When should I register for my wedding tuxedos?
The best time to register for your wedding formalwear is after the bride has purchased her dress and selected the bridesmaid gown colors. The earlier you register, the easier it is for your groomsmen to order their tuxedos on time.

How do I register for my wedding tuxedos?
To register your wedding simply stop by Mr. Formal store closest to you and our Formalwear Specialists will work with you to set up a wedding file. They will need to know the names of all the men in your wedding that will need tuxedo rentals. If you have already purchased your bridesmaid gowns it is always a good idea to bring a color swatch with you. It will take you approximately an hour to register your wedding party. A $40 refundable down payment is required at the time the wedding is registered. To schedule an appointment with one of our Formalwear Specialists, please call the store nearest you.

How long do I get to keep the tuxedo rental?
If your wedding is on the weekend your scheduled second fitting is on Thursday or Friday. If your tuxedo is ordered late you may have to pick it up the morning of your wedding. All tuxedos need to be returned by 3pm the next business day after your wedding. Your Formalwear Specialist will give you the exact date. Talk to your Formalwear Specialist about any special situation you have in advance and they will work with you on the date you need to return your tuxedo. Additional charges may apply to extended rentals.

How do I order the tuxedos for our out of town guests?
If anyone in your party is coming from out of the area, we'll be happy to make arrangements for them to be measured near their home. Your Formalwear Specialist will explain the process at the time you register your party. Your men will have their tuxedo waiting for their second fitting when they arrive in town.

What tuxedo sizes are available for rental?
Most tuxedo styles are available in boy’s sizes 3 to 18 and men's sizes 34 to 62. Sizes larger than men's 62 are available as well, ask your Formalwear Specialists for the specific size run of the tuxedo style you selected. Our specialists can also advise you on what style tuxedo looks best on what body shapes and styles.

How do I choose the correct tuxedo style and accessories for my wedding?
The only current rule for the formalwear for your wedding is to select a tuxedo style and accessories you would like to view in your wedding photos twenty years from now.

What is the second fitting?
The second fitting is usually scheduled 2 days prior to the wedding. You and the members of your wedding party will need to come in and try on their actual tuxedos. If alterations are needed, they will be ready the next day, by 5pm.

School Dance Tuxedo Rental Questions

How do I order a tuxedo for my school dance?
To order a tuxedo you will need to stop by your local Mr. Formal store and pick out your tuxedo and accessories at least seven days prior to your dance. A $40 down payment is required to order your tuxedo.

How do I choose the correct tuxedo style and accessories for my school dance?
The only thing you need to worry about when selecting your tuxedo is what your date’s dress style and color is. You don’t want to clash with her in your pictures.

When do I need to pick up and return my tuxedo? You will pick up your tuxedo the day before the dance. If your tuxedo is ordered late you may have to pick it up the day of your dance. All tuxedos need to be returned by 3pm the next business day after your event. Your Formalwear Specialist will give you the exact return date and time. Make sure you try on the tuxedo as soon as you can to ensure no alteration are needed.

What happens if I get my tuxedo home and it doesn’t fit or there is a problem?

The best time to register for the men's formalwear is immediately after the Quinceanera and Dama's dresses have been chosen, the men's attire is meant to compliment her and her attendants. Register at your local Mr. Formal as soon as possible to guarantee that all of your Chambelanes have time to be measured and order their tuxedos.

How do I register for my Quinceanera tuxedos?
To register your Chambelanes, stop by your local Mr. Formal Store with a swatch of your dress and your Dama’s dresses. Our Formalwear Specialist will help you select the perfect tuxedos for your celebration. We will organize the fittings for your Chambelanes and record the tuxedo styles and accessories you would like each of them to wear.

How long do my Chambelanes get to keep their tuxedo rentals?
